Hey you all!
Praying that all of you guys are doing really great and if you’re not.. Well things will only get better! :D I have been back for about 3 months now and all three months have been INCREDIBLE… As I look back to these 3 months thinking about what to say, I’m reminded of all the incredible things that God has already done in such a short span of time. It’s really exciting!
One, I’ve started Uni! I still can’t believe it sometimes that I’m actually in Uni already.. don’t know if you guys understand.. it’s like when you graduate from primary school and move on to secondary school.. it takes quite a while to get used to.. so yeah.. Uni is good so far… trying to really be able to manage my time efficiently so I can have maximum work done and maximum fun with minimal stress…not that I have already achieved that… that’s still work in progress. The first semester is coming to an end soon and exams are in like THREE WEEKS! So yeah, please do keep us all here in prayer.. it would really really make a difference!
Secondly, super awesome stuffs have happened. The first being the Franklin Graham Festival which was held over the same weekend that you guys had your camp if I got my dates right. It was held at this HUGE stadium (Telstra Dome) and the place was packed to the max. Some people couldn’t even get in on some of the nights. But the amazing thing was how many people responded to the altar call, first time decisions and also rededications. It was just massive. It’s amazing to see God move in such a big scale LIVE! It also reminded me of just how many people are there still out there who have not heard of the gospel yet. Another thing that really inspired me was how all the churches united together to contribute and served at the Festival. There were about 100 churches involved. And I think with the unity, God blessed the whole event. I believe that this is not the end or the “happily ever after” but rather the beginning of something phenomenal that will not only change Victoria but the entire world. And how cool is it that while we were having the festival and many people got saved and all, God was working and moving amongst you guys throughout the camp.. Awesome, aye?
Church has been FANTASTIC! It gets better and better as the weeks go by. I really thank God for putting me in a place where I can grow. After a grueling week in Uni, it is really a necessity to be able to come to praise and worship God and be inspired by His message through His servants, the pastors and visiting speakers. God has been showing me new things that I have to be working on. I mean I’ve been a Christian for a while now and it’s easy to think that we’ve ‘settled it all’ or that there is nothing else we can do… but He knows better and He always wants us to be working towards our absolute best- our maximum potential. =)
So yep.. overall it has been heaps fantastic.. I’ve been to an OCF (Overseas Christian Fellowship) Camp over Easter break and yeah.. it reminded me a lot of like YDM Camps and stuff… and I really miss you guys! Keeping you guys in prayer always… it’s always heaps encouraging to hear how you guys have grown and what you guys have been up to… wish I could be there with you guys but yea.. you guys keep growing in God… it might be real tough at times and things don’t seem to be looking any better.. when that happens, I encourage you guys to just take a breather and step out with Jesus.. anytime.. especially during those pressure moments when u think you would just explode any second.. breathe in and take time out with Jesus… start praising Him and He’ll begin to show you what REALLY needs to be done.. do this even when you’re studying for an exam and you have only got 3 hours to go before the paper is to start… it really helps to take time and pray and focus… its even more helpful than trying to cram everything when you are that stress.. so yeah.. I’m speaking from experience.. when the weight’s too much, hand it over to Jesus! I know some of you guys are bogged down with exams and all so I hoped that helped.. of course having said that, you still need to do your part and properly manage your studying time! =) Love you guys and keep in touch! Email me or whatever… just don’t be a stranger as Stephen says!
Love you loads!
