Stephen recently gave a few of us an analogy-- Imagine if your life was a car. Where would Jesus be?

Would He be in the boot (and when you run into trouble or have a flat, only then do you let Him out to help)?

Would He be in the backseat, simply looking over your shoulder and keeping quiet (because we all know how annoying backseat drivers can be, and He wouldn't wanna annoy you)?

Would He be in the passenger seat, maybe suggesting which way you should go, and leaving you, the driver, with the choice to listen to Him or not?

Or would He be in the driver's seat, in total control of the journey's direction, and ultimately the destination?

Something to think about.

Was listening to a song by Carrie Underwood called Jesus Take The Wheel, and I think it fits.
Jesus take the wheel
Take it from my hands
Cause I can't do this all on my own
I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
To save me from this road I'm on
Jesus take the wheel

Oh, and for those of you smart-alecs who pipe up, "I know! He's the engine!", I already tried that. Stephen replied, "I think that's the Holy Spirit."

Hehe touche, Steve.
